Position Title: UX/UI Developer 2 - Web/HTML/API

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract UX/UI Developer 2 - Web/HTML/API opportunity with our client located in Redmond, WA. This is a 100% Remote.

Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Developer with 3-5 years of experience to develop, create, and modify user interfaces based on a deep understanding of end-user needs.
Collaborate with the business development team and customers to gain a thorough understanding of their business problems and goals.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to assess the feasibility of design within time and budget constraints.
Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functionality to ensure it meets specifications.
Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes.
Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications, layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.
Purpose of the Team – Their team's organization is road-mapping and tooling. They deliver multi-level roadmaps – a part of planning and scoping for internal/external customers who all have access to the Azure strategy. They build data frameworks that interconnect and create visualizations with this. Customer exposed site that provides strategy customers/NDA customers insight into what has been delivered on the platform.
Key projects: The current visualization tool is Power BI. The environment is switching to web-based visualization. Would like someone with web development experience. This person will take data and organize it into visual representations. Could be Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and etc. or directly from data repositories. Deep visualization and deep well development.
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: 10% meetings and 40% heads down (developing), 30% research, 20% presentation/collaboration/meeting with work group.

Job Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering web/HTML visualizations and working with Power BI to create impactful and data-driven user experiences.
Must Have HTML / CSS development experience (2+ Years of experience).
Must Have Wireframing experience (adobe, Figma, etc.) (2+ Years of experience).
Must Have API experience (2+ Years of experience).
2-4 overall years of experience in the field.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
Need someone who can do visual AND web experience.
Their resume highlights some sort of initiative / visual of what they have delivered.
Workflow for their sight/initiative.
3-5 years of relevant experience in UX/UI development, with a focus on delivering web-based visualizations and Power BI integrations.
Proven experience in software design and development
Expertise in professional UI development, with a strong emphasis on data-driven design.
Experience with web/HTML visualizations and Power BI to create intuitive and impactful interfaces.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract
Location: 100% Remote
Pay Range: $44/hr. to $55/hr.
An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass a background check will not be considered for employment.
