Job Description

Position Title: Testing Project Manager

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Testing Project Manager opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the planning execution of project work scope with relevant engineering or experimental leads
Assist the testing and experiment project team in achieving project tasks and deliverables on budget and schedule
Monitoring, analyzing, tracking, and reporting on project cost, schedule, and scope progress using earned value (EV) data
Conducting administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices and drawing estimates
Liaising with project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables
Performing other duties assigned by the Principal Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner
Critical path analysis for test activities in the schedule

Job Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years’ experience working in either a technical role, a project management role, or a combination of both, where they were responsible for technical tasks alongside project management duties
Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent
Experience in project management of lab/test activities is preferred over project management experience with software development.
Experience with developing project budgets and resource loaded schedules
Clear communication, strategic thinking, and organization are key qualifications
Ability to adapt-to and rapidly learn new software and processes
Demonstrated affinity for understanding key objective and intent and then working with stakeholders and software tools to improve a process or system to make it more efficient.
Bachelor’s degree in technical field
PMP, or AACE certificate is highly preferred.
Experience with Atlassian Confluence and JIRA preferred
Strong technical background, including engineering management, is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork.
Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract
Pay Rate Range: $72-$90/hr.
Location: Everett and Bellevue, WA (Hybrid)
