Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract Technical Editor opportunity located in Kirkland, WA
Job Responsibilities:
- Integrate test document errata
- Edit content drafted by SME contributors in support of new Bluetooth wireless technology features
- Ensure conformance to applicable style guides and templates
- Work on editorial projects
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience editing technical content for a technical audience
- Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with subject matter experts
- Experience producing content in Microsoft Word, Excel
- Familiarity with Atlassian suite, specifically Jira
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications, English, or equivalent experience

- Pay Rate Range: $45 – 60/hr
