Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract Technical Editor opportunity located in Kirkland, WA
Job Responsibilities:
- Integrate specification document errata
- Edit content drafted by SME contributors in support of new wireless technology features
- Ensure standardization of our client's specifications and other SIG content via Drafting Guidelines
- Work on editorial and CCMS-based projects
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience editing technical content for a technical audience
- Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with subject matter experts
- Experience producing content in Microsoft Word and XML-based CCMS
- Experience with Paligo and Fluid Topics preferred
- Familiarity with Atlassian suite, specifically Jira
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications, English, or equivalent experience
Job Details:

- Pay Rate Range: $30-45/hr.
