Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Systems Engineer opportunity located in Roseville, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply systems engineering principles across requirements development, architecture, design, integration, verification, and validation on aircraft platform programs
- Develop and maintain system models using MBSE methodologies and tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
- Author and manage requirements, interface control documents (ICDs), and systems engineering management plans (SEMPs)
- Perform trade studies, functional analysis, and technical risk assessments
- Support design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and coordinate across engineering disciplines including software, hardware, and test
- Work collaboratively in a classified environment, adhering to facility security requirements and program security protocols
- Engage with government customers and internal stakeholders to communicate technical status and issues
Job Qualifications:
- Active DoD security clearance (Secret or higher); U.S. citizenship required
- Prior experience on aircraft programs (fixed-wing, rotary, or UAV platforms)
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related ABET-accredited discipline
- 8+ years experience in Systems Engineering
- Hands-on experience with MBSE tools — Cameo/MagicDraw strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable producing and presenting technical documentation.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: Roseville, CA.
- Pay Rate Range: $60-90/hr.
- Required US Citizenship: May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance at the appropriate level.
