Position Title: Systems Applications Engineer II
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Direct Hire opportunity for a System Applications Engineer II with our client located in Kent, WA.
Job Responsibilities:

The System Application Engineer II will be the primary technical focal to support efforts for projects of new or existing programs including requirements definition, documentation, and communication of requirements, both internally and externally with customers for VIP/VVIP IFE/CMS solutions.
- Manage multiple complex projects requiring innovative solutions for IFE/CMS systems
- Prepare documentation of designs and requirements for VIP/VVIP systems
- Conduct design reviews of requirements implementation to ensure system requirements are understood and implementable with all cross-functional engineering teams
- Support customer proposal development with system, equipment definitions and custom requirement solutions
- Primary owner of System Integration Testing Procedures (ATPs) for customer programs and formal witness testing
- Oversee the System Integration Testing results, disposition, and coordinate resolution with cross functional teams
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Expert in customer discussions to define optimal solutions
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related engineering degrees, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in large scale integrated systems, preferably with Cabin CMS/IFE systems
- Aircraft Cabin CMS/IFE Systems, VVIP or Business Jet systems preferred
- Interpret system wiring design in support of aircraft system installation
- System Integration Testing methodology
- Self-supervising within guidance and expectations of cross functional team leaders
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable interfacing at all organizational levels, especially with customers
- Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
- An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass both the drug test and background check will not be considered for employment.
- Salary Range: $72,746 - $109,119 (depending on experience)
