Job Description

Position Title: Software Engineer II

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity located in Redmond, WA.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions using Python.
  • Build and enhance REST APIs using API Gateway.
  • Work with DynamoDB for data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement frontend features for asset tracking and management
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards
  • Support production deployments and troubleshooting.

Job Qualifications:
  • Python: 3+ years of professional experience.
  • AWS Services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, AppConfig, SQS, SNS.
  • Infrastructure as Code: AWS CDK experience preferred
  • API Development: RESTful services and JSON handling
  • Database: NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB
  • Version Control: Git workflows and code review processes
  • Testing: Unit testing frameworks (pytest preferred)

Job Details:
  • Job Type: Contract
  • Location: Redmond, WA.
  • Pay Rate Range: $75-85/hr.
