Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for a Software Development Engineer (Automation, DevOps) with our client located in Austin, TX.
Job Qualifications:
- The team is looking for an energetic, motivated self-starter with a thirst for knowledge and a firm commitment to schedule.
- Experience with test methodologies, software development, automation, and execution in target
- Linux and Windows environments
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of scripting languages Python, groovy and Ruby
- Knowledge on configuration and version management(git, github), build management (preferably cloudbees with knowledge in pipelines, shared libraries) is a must
- Knowledge of PC / server industry initiatives including PCIe, ACPI, UEFI, SMBIOS, JEDEC, IPMI; common PC interface standards Ethernet, SATA, PCIe, USB, DDR is a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in working on Agile and milestone driven product development.
- BS + 3-5 years or MS + 1-3 years of direct experience.

- Contract
- Pay Range: $48-$53 /hr
