Job Description
Position Title: Senior User Experience Research Consultant
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for Senior User Experience Research Consultant with our client that is located in Sunnyvale, CA.
Job Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced Senior User Experience Research Consultant to lead a comprehensive research initiative aimed at understanding and improving employee productivity and business process efficiency. The successful candidate will employ a range of UX research methods including empathy tours, empathy mapping, and journey mapping to identify opportunities for enhancing the employee experience and operational processes.
• Define the objectives, scope, and intended outcomes of the user experience research initiative.
• Develop and execute a detailed research plan, outlining methodologies, timelines, and responsibilities.
• Conduct empathy tours to observe employees in their work environments and collect qualitative data on their experiences, challenges, and needs.
• Create detailed empathy and journey maps to visualize employee experiences, identify pain points, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
• Synthesize research findings and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, prototype, and validate solutions aimed at addressing identified pain points and opportunities.
• Lead the implementation of refined solutions and monitor their effectiveness in improving productivity and efficiency.
• Continually optimize solutions based on measured impact, employee feedback, and emerging needs.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• 15 years of experience in user experience research, preferably focused on employee experience and business processes.
• Proficiency in a variety of UX research methods, including empathy tours, empathy mapping, and journey mapping.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and facilitating workshops and brainstorming sessions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to shifting priorities.
Must Have:
• Strong in Developing and executing a detailed research plan
• Effectively engaging with stake holders
• Human factors/human centric education background.
Job Details:
• Contract: 12 months.
• Pay Rate: $70 - $75 /hr
• Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)
