Job Description

Position Title: Network Planning Engineer III

Position Description: Protingent has a contract opportunity for a Network Planning Engineer with our client in Charlotte, NC.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead network infrastructure deployment and circuit design & implementation Projects
  • Track progress, manage timelines, and ensure project deliverables meet quality and budget expectations.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power App & Power Automate solutions that simplify workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Build, refine, and manage Power BI dashboards and reports for data driven decision making.
  • Prepare and present regular project status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with other functional leaders in driving cross functional process changes to optimize project efficiency.

Job Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Proven experience in project management, ideally in a telecommunications, engineering, or data analytics environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerApps, Power BI, and related Power Platform tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience
  • Prior industry experience in facility engineering and network deployments
  • Experience with circuit design and implementation; familiarity with TIRKS is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to articulate via written and through oral communication

Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Strong Knowledge of TDM transport, SS7 signaling, and IP Voice (VoIP) implementations
  • Experience with third party circuit migrations
  • Master’s degree in engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field

Job Details:
  • Job Type: Contract
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Pay Rate Range: $47-$54/hr.
  • ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
