Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for Senior IP Design Verification Consultant with our client that is located in Santa Clara, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work on IP/Block level Design Verification tasks.
• Communicate with Architects and Design teams for possible bugs and DV quality.
• Help on regression quality tracking on various DV coverage index. Failing tests dbg when necessary. Add/improve DV functional checkers as needed.
• Perform design functional check according to Architecture Spec. and Design MAS. Add/Enhance IP level test plan.
Job Qualifications:
• Be polite and communicate with fellow team members.
• Minimum 5 years of IP/Block level design verification experiences. Or minimum 3 years of IP/Block level design verification experience.
• 3 years of logic design experience. Memory ECC and/or bus parity working experiences will be a plus.
(Sorry that post silicon validation, DFT and product quality experiences don’t count since the principles are very different)
• Efficient in SystemVerilog/UVM verification language usage. C++/C experiences is a plus. DV coverage checker experience is a plus.
• Well versed in modern Computer Architecture and memory/cache subsystems.
• Efficient in Unix working environments: set up, general usages, and even some scripting/makefile. Perl scripting is a plus.
Job Details:
• Contract: 12 months.
• Pay Rate: $95 - $100 /hr
• Location: Santa Clara, CA (3 days onsite)
