Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Direct Hire Senior DevOps Engineer opportunity located in Springfield, VA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform or AWS CDK
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery and deployment processes
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems across the full stack.
Job Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, TeamCity)
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Helm)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ArgoCD)
- Experience with security hardening and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP, PlatformOne).

- Salary Range: $200–230K.
- US Citizens only with TS/SCI Clearance
