Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Senior Biomechanical Engineer opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Focus on Design Improvements
- Develop knowledge with the following regulations and standards:
- 21 CFR Part 820 – Medical Device Quality System Regulations (QSR)
- ISO 13485:2016 Medical devices – Quality management systems
- EN ISO 11135-1:2007 – Sterilization of healthcare products – Ethylene Oxide o EU Medical Device Regulation
- Assist in Non-Conforming material resolution including root cause investigation and communication with suppliers.
- Assist in Corrective and preventative action (CAPA) including root cause investigation and effectiveness check.
- Perform Design Verification/Validation
- Support supplier issue resolution. Perform data analysis/trending as requested and prepare quality improvement presentations
- University degree (engineering) and 2+ years of experience
- CAD highly preferred
- Medical device background highly preferred
- Contract
- Pay Rate Range: $60-70/h
- ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
