Position Title: Repair Station Test Operator
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for a Repair Station Test Operator with our client located in Kirkland, WA.
Job Description:
- The Repair Station Test Operator is detail-oriented. In this role, you'll be on the front lines, performing crucial tests on our electronic and mechanical assemblies to ensure they meet our high-quality standards. - This is a hands-on role in a repair station environment. You will work with an emphasis on 5S methodology, safety, and quality. You may have exposure to high voltage and LN2, but you will be fully trained on all safety protocols.
Job Responsibilities:
- Routine Testing: Perform go/no-go tests on various electronic circuits and mechanical assemblies, following strict standard operating guidelines.
- Equipment Operation: You'll be responsible for setting up and operating specialized test equipment and systems, including but not limited to HASS chambers, HiPot, and ATEs.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document test results, maintain detailed logs and records of any malfunctions or discrepancies, and report findings to senior technicians.
- Assembly & Setup: Use hand tools to perform test setups on devices and prepare them for analysis.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is a must.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of direct experience in a similar mechanical/electrical role.
- Technical Skills: You should be proficient with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Outlook, and have experience with data entry or database user interface software.
- Physical Abilities: The ability to lift up to 40 lbs., excellent manual dexterity, and good near vision are required. You must also be able to differentiate between colors and brightness.
- Electrical Aptitude: A basic understanding of electrical principles is a plus, and the desire to learn more is key.

- Job Type: Contract
- Location: Kirkland, WA.
- Salary Range: $24-$25/hour.
- ITAR obligations are associated with this role; U.S. Citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
