Position Title: Quality Inspector (Mechanical Focus).

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Quality Inspector (Mechanical Focus) contract opportunity with our client located in Kirkland, WA.

Job Description:

• The Quality Inspector is a critical role responsible for ensuring high-quality mechanical components and assemblies by performing a wide range of inspection procedures and determining final acceptance or rework requirements based on engineering documents.

Job Responsibilities:

• This role is focused on performing detailed mechanical inspection from blueprints, engineering change notices (ECN), and established operating procedures.

• Executing Shipping Inspection duties utilizing internal systems and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet company shipping requirements.

• Inspecting critical in-process and/or finished production assemblies and subassemblies for conformance to drawings and quality assurance standards.

• Determining methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for inspection using machines and basic tools.

• Reviewing, evaluating, and providing feedback on procedures and drawings.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• 2-4 years of direct experience in Quality Inspection, preferably in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.

• Demonstrated mechanical inspection experience.

• Skilled at using department systems.

• Proficiency with MS Office products, including intermediate MS Excel skills.

• Preferred: Reading mechanical drawings that may have GD&T, fixturing parts, using a height gauge, and familiarity with sheet metal parts.

• Pay Rate Range: $23.50-$25.50 per hour.

• ITAR obligations are associated with this role; U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
