Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for a Quality Engineering Lead position with our client located in Redmond, WA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish quality standards in collaboration with Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Success
- Work with CMs and vendors to ensure adherence to Company's established standards by implementing Outgoing and Incoming Quality Control (OQC/IQC)
- Analyze quality deviations and drive the resolution through design changes or process improvements
- Lead DFMEA and PFMEA on new technologies and manufacturing processes
- Manage quality monitoring mechanism which generates meaningful metrics providing indication of outgoing quality at all nodes in the supply chain
- Develop/drive test correlation, metrology systems and sampling methods
- Develop reliability test plans and protocols and lead the partnership with external labs
- 8-10 years of experience in quality engineering within consumer electronics industry
- Previous experience with Smartsheet, Jira, and collaboration tools ( Microsoft or Google)
- Experience with wireless and RF technologies is a plus
- Domestic and international travel is required, up to 25%
- Expected to work from the HQ in Redmond at least 80% of the time
- BS/MS (preferred) in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics
- Contract to hire
- Pay Range: $70-$85/hr
