Project Manager
Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Project Manager opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple engineering projects concurrently, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality objectives are met.
- Drive product development activities from concept through design, validation, and production release.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans using MS Project.
- Evaluate materials and components to ensure optimal performance, cost, and compliance.
- Oversee design reviews, testing activities, and risk assessments.
- Support regulatory compliance efforts, particularly for FDA-regulated medical devices (if applicable).
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members.
- Communicate project status, risks, and milestones effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical engineering role.
- At least 3 years of experience leading projects or cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Experience with MS Project or equivalent project management tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: Kirkland, WA.
- Pay Rate Range: $50-65/hr.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
