Job Description
Position Title: Project Design Manager
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for Project Design Manager with our client located in Santa Clara, CA.
Job Description: This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Design Operations. Experienced with all design and development lifecycle phases, including resourcing, planning, idea generation, concept development, testing, production, and implementation. You measure your success by the success of the team you support. The overall sustainability, efficiency, and visibility of the team are of utmost importance. You take an unbiased approach that ensures balance and rigidity of the team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of multiple projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within capacity
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
• Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with relevant stakeholders
• Ensure proper steps are taken to adhere to the design and development process
• Leading design reviews, planning sessions and phased gate meetings
• Work closely with the project management organization to optimize efficiency for the team.
Job Qualifications:
• Proven working experience in design project management and relevant tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Figma, Adobe, Asana, and Microsoft products
• Strong working knowledge of the Agile development process
• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• Negotiating consensus, aligning activities and problem-solving across different functions
• Managing parallel programs consisting of different cross-functional core teams
• Contributing to prioritization decisions using data and analysis from current and past projects.
Job Details:
• Contract: 12 months
• Pay Rate: $ 60- $65 an hour
• Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)
