Job Description
Position Title: Program Planning and Controls Specialist
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract - Program Planning and Controls Specialist opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Issue and manage purchase orders to suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Follow up with vendors to confirm order status and ensure on-time delivery aligned with need-by dates
- Perform basic sourcing activities for parts and materials as required
- Review and track order confirmations to ensure accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate logistics, including shipment tracking and resolving delivery issues
- Maintain accurate records of orders, supplier communications, and delivery status
- Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders on order status, risks, and delays
- Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and workflows.
Job Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in program planning, scheduling, project controls, or similar work
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud
- Strong experience with Oracle tools
- Integrated scheduling experience across technical or engineering-heavy programs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Program Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and driving alignment across teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to help teams crystalize ideas into clear schedules and execution plans
- Comfortable working onsite and engaging people in person
- Nuclear experience is a plus.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Experience supporting product development programs
- Experience in energy, nuclear, or other highly technical industries
- Experience with schedule reporting, planning reviews, and program tracking
- Experience working in environments where speed, collaboration, and structure are all important
- Strong presence, confidence, and ability to drive conversations across multiple teams.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Pay Rate: $52-$65 per hour
- Location: Everett, Washington
