Job Description
Position Title:Â Production Planner/Master Scheduler 3
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for Production Planner/Master Scheduler 3 with our client located in Sunnyvale, CA.
Job Description:
• Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle.
• Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.
• Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
• Master Scheduler: Provides input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with marketing, sales, production and engineering managers.
• Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
• Oversees the master schedules and ensures comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing.
• Expedites operations or raw materials in support of production schedule objectives.
• Understands critical allocation reports (ATP), ensures supply is channeled to approved critical demand streams.
• Approve MTs with understanding of Supply and demand (impact)
• Participates in MRB analysis meetings, helps planners determine RCA on deltas identified.
• Release work orders to production cells with supervision and direction.
• Create Rework orders for cells, ensure EBOM accuracy and thorough understanding of Agile and BOM accuracy on such requests.
• Assist with planned order scheduling as needed with support and direction from planners.
• Assist in CCB meetings for awareness of design cutovers, ensuring work orders reflect requires specifications.
• Approve ECOs as needed with support and guidance from planners.
• Awareness on all deviations on the factory floor to ensure that Work order management program is clean and no issues on the line.
• Alternative Primary process within work orders, maintain quota table with support of planners, support line request for changes needed
• Sustain standard work for planning and inventory control programs as needed
• Assist planners on a number of ECO implementation activities. Material Phase out, traveler revisions, and EFT changes resulting from Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Resolve work order variances and determine/track root cause. Work with Cost Accounting for month end close.
• Adhere to all manufacturing operating policies, guidelines and procedures. Comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
• Present Production Planning reporting for daily production meetings, such as shortages and build plan information.
• Confers with Sr. department members to determine status of assigned project action items.
Job Details:
• Contract: 12 months
• Pay range: $40 - $46 / hr
• Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite).
