Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting fulltime direct hire opportunity for a Production Inspector -2nd Shift with our client located in Kirkland, WA.
Job Responsibilities:
- The Inspector will work from blueprints, engineering change notices, or established operating procedures to perform a wide range of complex inspection procedures and determine acceptance, rejection, or rework requirements at various stages of production.
- The Production Inspector conducts in-process inspections and/or completes the final verification of end-item products.
- Perform inspection of manufacturing goods during the manufacturing process.
- Conducts dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies or final systems assemblies.
- Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards and lists in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrates familiarity (typically 1-2 years of Production experience in the essential functions of the position).
- Basic computer skills, including email.
- Basic ERP skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to obtain J-Std and IPC certifications
- May require flight critical certification.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Direct Hire
- Location: Kirkland, WA (Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM).
- Pay Range: $24/hr.
- An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass both the drug test and background check will not be considered for employment.
- ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
