Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Production Control Planner III with our client located in Sunnyvale, CA.
Job Description:
- The Production Planner will be assigned critical NPI/Sustaining projects to manage, seek out and recommend process improvements, and assist in developing team members skill sets in the planning teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned NPI/Sustaining projects at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Support department or organizational projects.
- Support Supply Chain organization on implementing ECO requirements.
- Identify potential supply risks and inventory exposures by aligning supply chain processes with production plan milestones/targets.
- Review department metrics; analyze trends and results.
- Special projects and continuous improvement of processes and systems increase efficiency and scale to meet demand.
- Assist in NPI storage location strategies as well as timely transfer of material from NPI to Production Locations
- Monitor Tableau Report: NPI Inventory Monitor to determine NPI SLOC candidates to close based on Inventory Value and Stagnant Indicator. Pursue closure with Team (Project Manager, NPI Project Lead, Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Master Scheduling, Purchasing).
- Assess SAP Address Tableau for accuracy, submit SAP Help Ticket to update SAP Addresses as new projects are assigned, store rooms and Manufacturing Lines are moved to different buildings. Follow up on UAT Testing for new SLOC Assignments.
- Monitor SAP NPI Demand Tableau Report, contact NPI Master Scheduling for late Demand Plans.

- Pay Rate: $50 - $58 an hour.
- Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite).
