Position Title: Procurement Specialist 4
Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract opportunity for a Procurement Specialist 4 with our client located in Redmond, WA. This is a remote role: Candidates must work standard PST business hours from 8am-5pm PST.

Job Responsibilities:
- Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is working in procurement supporting large customers. The team works with various sourcing teams to ensure pricing is submitted correctly, align with SKUs and that quotes from supplier’s match once they’re routed for approvals.
- Key projects: This role will contribute to various actions with the team including placing orders, handle PO approval submissions, working with finance approvers to get Purchase Order (POs) sent through all systems, handle and reviewing pricing, work with various partners to ensure data is validated and correct.
- Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of various activities each day. A typical day will start with checking their email and queues for actions assigned to them, and the majority of their time will be spent actioning on these items including working through a checklist to ensure everything is done, finding blockers and unblock them, and working with various teams to hit SLAs and set up POs. That said the work is highly varied, and is never as boring as checking boxes!
Job Responsibilities:
- Must Have 8 years’ experience with SAP. (additional experience with other financial tools is a plus).
- Must Have 8 years’ experience with pricing contracts and approvals.
- Must Have 8 years’ experience with supply chain and/or procurement.
- 8-10 overall years of experience in the field. Couple years procurement exp, placing POs, understanding and building contracts, working with legal
- No degree is required to be eligible for this role, however a bachelor’s degree in a related field is nice to see.
- The ideal resume would contain lots of procurement and contracts experience, and experience writing SQL queries and designing and developing Excel and Power BI reports is a big plus. The best candidates also has great communication and presentation skills!
- Strong written and oral communication skills along with desire and ability to communicate with business leaders through all levels of the organization.
- Ability to maintain a broader perspective and identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance the business through cross-group collaboration
- Strong organization and time-management skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to manage numerous competing priorities in a flexible and fast-paced environment
Preferred Job Experience:
- Experience writing SQL queries and designing and developing Excel and Power BI reports
- Ability to successfully collaborate across multiple teams
- Capable of strong individual contribution and influence across non-direct reporting teams
- Problem solving capability with a calm demeanor
- Ability to maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: This is a remote role - Candidates must work standard PST business hours from 8am-5pm PST.
- Pay Range: $42/hr. to $51/hr.
- An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass a background check will not be considered for employment.
- ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
