Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract opportunity for a Power Validation Engineer with our client located in Mountain View, CA (Onsite).
Job Responsibilities:
- This role provides the opportunity to work with cutting edge AI and Silicon technology.
- Purpose of the Team: Our client is working with AI silicon that they are developing.
- This role will contribute to the power testing piece of AI silicon.
- The role will consist of Python based scripting, taking measurements and data analysis, network analysis.
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Silicon Power Testing.
- 5+ years of experience with Oscilloscope and lab equipment handling.
- 5+ years of experience with Python scripting.
- A bachelor's or master's degree is required to be eligible for this role.
- 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.
- 5+ years’ experience in Power required.
- Prior experience in SoC or System level Power Analysis.
- Knowledge of lab power measurement and analysis techniques.
- Hands on lab experience in executing test cases for server/mobile/custom devices.
- Understanding of power-performance architecture and trade-offs.
- Excellent collaborative and organizational skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrates innovative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Some experience with test automation.
- Demonstrates ability to Triage/Debug post-si issues.
- Understanding of ML/AI workloads is preferred.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: Mountain View CA (Onsite).
- Pay Range: $94/hr. to $131/hr.
- An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass a background check will not be considered for employment.
