Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire opportunity for Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with our client that is located in Tyler, TX.
Job Description:
- Client is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist Assistant to work primarily at our outpatient pediatric clinic in Tyler, TX.
- Their ideal candidate is someone flexible and passionate about providing quality care for a variety of diagnoses including ASD, SPD, and developmental delays.
Job Responsibilities:
- As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), candidate will play a key role in enhancing the lives of pediatric patients by:
- Assisting in the implementation of individualized treatment plans to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and daily living activities.
- Delivering engaging, play-based therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Collaborating with families and caregivers to promote patient progress.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress.
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for young patients.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: A graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Experience: Prior experience in outpatient Occupational Therapy is preferred, but don't worry if you're a new grad - we welcome you too.
- Qualifications: Eligible or active state license to practice Occupational Therapy Assistant.

- Salary Range: $27/hr.
