Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer 5 - Lead ME with our client located in Redmond, WA. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week onsite.

Job Responsibilities:
- Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is Mechanical Design of Hardware.
- Key projects: This role will contribute to Hardware: Console/Controllers.
- Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm:
- The role will consist of the below:
- CAD design and review internal to ME team
- Providing guidance to external resources and reviewing their work
- Attending and leading cross functional meetings to ensure alignment and effective collaboration
- Leading/owning subsystems for the ME team
- Must Have 10+ years’ experience with Mechanical engineering design of assemblies and components.
- Must Have 10+ years’ experience with 3D CAD modeling (preferred CREO).
- Must Have 5+ years’ experience with Design of Electronic hardware.
- Ideal candidates will have strong leadership capabilities in addition to technical fundamentals.
- 10+ overall years of experience in the field.
- Bachelor's in engineering degree is required to be eligible for this role.
- The ideal resume would contain years of demonstrated design experience in consumer electronics, strong CREO CAD skills, demonstrated cross functional leadership, Can Do attitude – “gets things done”.
- Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should have examples of their design work (not just CAD work for someone else’s design) ready for discussion prepared prior to the assessment.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid).
- Pay Range: $71/hr. to $94.50/hr.
- An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass a background check will not be considered for employment.
