Position Title: Mechanical Design & Simulation Engineer
Position Description: Exciting direct hire opportunity for a Mechanical Design & Simulation Engineer with our client in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Job Description:
- Utilizing ANSYS Fluent for the design, analysis, and optimization of turbine blades, focusing on performance simulations and aerodynamic assessments.
- Performing structural simulations with ANSYS Fluent to ensure integrity and adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborating with product development teams to refine mechanical components and assemblies, aligning with technical specifications and market requirements.
- Leading the prototype design efforts, working closely with in-house machining and 3D printing teams to ensure functional integration and iterative improvements.
Job Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3 to 8 years of experience in mechanical design and simulation.
- 4 years of blade design and fluid simulation using ANSYS Fluent.
- Proficient in SolidWorks for mechanical design, with experience in MATLAB and Matplotlib.
- Strong foundation in fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, and mechanical design principles.

- Salary Range: $120K-$150k Salary
- Location: Scottsdale, AZ (On-Site)
