Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting fulltime direct hire opportunity for a Material Handler 2nd shift with our client located in Kirkland, WA.
Job Description:
- The Material Handler will manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor in relation to managing materials for the production line.
- Stock and distribute products and materials in inventory warehouses and manufacturing lines
- Package and prepare products and merchandise for the shipping clerk.
- Prepare and maintain records of items shipped (i.e. purchase orders, manual shippers, and work orders)
- Perform daily cycle counts
- Periodically rotate in recieving for cross training
- May drive a non-CDL box truck for deliveries
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrates familiarity of job duties (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position)
- Data base user interface and query software
- Electronic mail software
- Enterprise resource planning ERP software
- Inventory management software
- Spreadsheet software
- Label making software
- Materials requirements planning logistics and supply chain software
- Manufacturing environment
- Time Pressure
- Operating a forklift, pallet jack and/or manlift operator
- Standing for long periods of time
- Lifting heavy (typically 30 lbs) items
Job Details:
- Job Type- Direct FTE hire
- Location: Kirkland, WA
- Salary Pay Range: $18.46 - $21.00/hr. plus $2/hr. differential for 2nd shift work
- Hours: Monday - Thursday 3pm – 1:30 am
- An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass both the drug test and background check will not be considered for employment.
- ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
