Position Title: Market Development Manager (LatAm)

Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire opportunity for a Technical Sales Manager with our International client working 100% remotely.

Job Description: 
  • This newly created role within the Marketing Dev. team will lead on defining and executing the plan to drive growth in the Latin America region. Our client's global coverage provides limitless possibilities for business development, especially in the emerging opportunities for connecting the ‘Internet of Things’.  
  • The development and execution of a geographically defined growth strategy for the Enterprise Business Unit in the Latin America region including markets and countries to focus on and revenue growth targets.
  • Development of new go-to-market partners in identified regions to create new revenue streams.
  • Co-ordinate across multiple organizations and skill sets to determine the development strategy for key geographies, including supporting our channel partners
  • Work with and support both Marketing and Sales (including Channel Partners) to deliver key campaigns to execute growth in the identified markets and bring in leads for sales teams to close.
  • Define key solutions and key messaging for sales collateral that can be used by sales teams and partners.
  • Develop external facing thought leadership articles and be prepared to speak at external conferences and the wider media.

Job Qualifications:
  • Experience in new market analysis, strategy, and development plans of new complex product markets/industries or service revenue streams from scratch in the Latin America region and doing business in Latin America - within one or more of these verticals / industry markets listed:
    • Enterprise business unit’s target vertical markets; Energy, Transport, Gas Oil, Mining, Land based Industry and Agriculture. 
  • Or
    • Within the IoT industry vertical, such has IoT devices, chips, software, sensors, telemetry, network or communication devices/services, etc. or system integration services or consultancy.
  • A basic working knowledge of the IoT and fluency with the main concepts of the technology, particularly communications is a hard requirement.
  • Experience of delivering high growth numbers and to set strategies for entering emerging markets and geographies.
  • Ability to engage external customers and end users from multiple regions with a consultative sales approach to understand industry dynamics and growth opportunities for our client.
  • Strong commercial skills with the ability to co-ordinate and negotiate internally and externally in order to influence senior leaders and inspire confidence from our sales team and channel partners
  • Track record of developing new revenue generating partnerships and customers.
  • Ability to turn complex information into simple messages both verbally and in written format and have the ability to present this content to external audiences in meetings and at external events.
  • Confident self-starter who is capable of working in a fast-paced market environment.
  • Fluency in both Portuguese and Spanish ideally.  Or fluency in one and willing to take language courses for fluency in the other on the job.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
  • Experience doing business in one or more of the Enterprise business unit’s target vertical markets; Energy, Transport and Agriculture.
  • P&L management skills
  • Understanding of the commercial landscape of the satellite communications industry
