Job Description
Position Title: Manager of IT Infrastructure & Facilities Projects
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for a Manager of IT Infrastructure & Facilities Projects with our client located in Durham, NC.
Job Responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced individual who can adapt to the Project planning and delivery processes, as well as contribute to strategy, roadmap discussions, project execution and delivery of our engagements.
• Plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects through Waterfall methodologies.
• Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments.
• Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.
• Projects may vary in number, size and complexity.
Job Qualifications:
• Ability to demonstrate collaboration, conflict resolution, risk mitigation, resource management and vendor management skills.
• Proven experience in a result driven environment.
• Experience and skills necessary to continuously improve, develop and deliver the initiatives.
• Demonstrate PMO organizational skills to enhance data integrity and accuracy.
• The role needs to perform in unique high energy and multi-cultural work society.
• Self-starter working with minimal guidance.
• Ideal candidate will have excellent communication and soft skills, interacting with multiple levels of stakeholders, sponsors, and project resources.
• Strong proven experience using Project Management Tools (such as Smartsheet, and MS Project), expert in using Office 365 applications.
• Fluent in working multiple collaboration tools such as Zoom.
Must Have:
• Have experience and technical knowledge of structured cabling, WAN/LAN/WLAN, and audio visual/collaboration.
• Strong communication and soft skills to work directly with engineers and third-party vendors.
Job Details:
• Contract
• Pay Range: $92/hr- $97/hr
