Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Direct Hire Maintenance Control Coordinator opportunity located in Mountain View, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Takes direction from the maintenance manager to reach specific organizational goals.
- Ensure a clean, organized and professional workplace. Enforces tool control, shop tool calibration, and aviation inventory management best practices both In-shop and mobile work facility.
- Function as a point of contact for maintenance related items: scheduling service for life limited components, ensuring maintenance intervals are followed and recorded for airship systems, monitoring progress and tracking of maintenance events.
- Responsible for maintaining and organizing FlightDocs inventory and maintenance management system.
- Coordinates with responsible engineers to ensure maintenance procedures for particular systems are fully fleshed out and completed to fruition.
- Notices problems/constraints with maintenance processes and raises concerns/suggestions to the Maintenance Manager.
- Provide aviation specific guidance to the engineering team to ensure the flight vehicle conforms with standard aerospace best practices and is ready for flight test operations.
- Ensures team members are provided with all necessary documentation, tools, and materials needed to complete projects.
- Responsible for onboarding maintenance team new hires ensuring they receive proper employee orientation, PPE, login credentials, and work peripherals.
- Willing to work overtime and on non-regular work days.
- Willing to work in outdoor type weather conditions year round
- Enforce/follow company policies and report any violations to the manager.
- Ensure workplace safety above everything else.
Job Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Experience with 5+ Years Strong organizational and planning skills
- Must have experience with maintenance scheduling, documentation, working alongside engineers
- Nice-to-haves FlightDocs software • Ideal years of experience
- Working knowledge of corporate/business aviation current practices and procedures.
- Well-rounded technical background in business aviation aircraft
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in any given workday
- Superior organizational skills
- Must have proven managerial skills.
- Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, email, web-based applications and Apple iPad applications.

- Pay Rate Range: $50 – 65/hr DOE
- ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
