Job Description
Position Description: Protingent has a contract opportunity for a Laser Tracker Inspector with our client in Huntsville, AL.
Job Responsibilities:
- Setup, program and operate Laser Tracker using design data to inspect make and buy components.
- Perform first article inspections and document per AS9102.
- Perform in-process, and final inspections.
- Document, track, and complete discrepancy reports.
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly PM on machines and document.
- Maintain configuration control on files and job records.
Job Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
- Superior blueprint reading skills including GD&T principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work. Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components. Familiar with the use of personal computers. Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.
