Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract opportunity for a Lab Technician, Hardware 3 with our client located in Redmond, WA. This is a 100% onsite role.
Job Description:
- An AI Sever-focused R&D Computer Technician managing setup, testing and maintenance of AI-focused hardware projects in our Puget Sound labs.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory space.
- Possess a technical background with experience in datacenter environments and networking preferred.
- Experience with control systems and/or data acquisition systems preferred.

- Provide on-premises assistance and support for computer equipment operations and other technical issues.
- Possess thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components.
- Opportunity to work with emerging technology.
- Ability to provide input and conduct functional test plans.
- Familiarity with Product Development Processes.
- Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is working on advanced data center technologies
- Key projects: This role will contribute to lab piolets
- Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 15-20% meetings, 70% hands on work, such as configuring servers, heat exchangers, and monitoring equipment, 10% lab shipping and logistics management.
- Must Have Demonstrate excellent computer and technical skills; proficiency with MS applications and virtual meeting platforms is essential – CPU and GPU Performance benchmarking. | 5-7 years of experience
- Must Have Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot systems including servers, network switches, and peripheral devices. | 5-7 years of experience
- Must Have Ability to build liquid cooling systems – hydraulic connections, rack setup, etc | 5-7 years of experience
- 5-7 overall years of experience in the field.
- The ideal resume would contain the hard skills mentioned and related work experience with solid work examples.
- Degrees or certifications required: N/A
- Basic knowledge on fluid handling, plumbing and leak control. Ability to read single line diagrams/ flow diagrams.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: 100 % Onsite, Redmond, WA.
- Pay Range: $56/hr. to $72.50/hr.
- An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass a background check will not be considered for employment.
