Integration Engineer II

Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Direct Hire Integration Engineer II opportunity located in Addison, TX.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creation, review and approval of work orders and instructions
- Work closely with technicians and responsible engineers to ensure products meet quality guidelines and schedules are kept
- Ensure inventories for all required builds is on hand
- Collaborate with responsible parties to resolve technical issues that arise
- Perform root cause analyses and pursue corrective actions
- Continue improvements on workflow and process optimization
- Follow products from the development cycle to the production cycle
- Interpret engineering drawings and provide feedback to improve designs
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or science based field
- Understanding of manufacturing operations
- Experience with assembly of and troubleshooting complex assemblies
- Proficient in using 3D modeling software (Creo preferred)
- Familiarity with PLM and/or productivity software packages
- Working understanding of tolerance, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), and design for manufacturability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, OneNote)
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced R&D environment
- Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships
- Master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or science based field
- Experience with design or assembly of aerospace propulsion systems
- Active or Previous Security Clearance
