Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Contract IT Support Engineer opportunity located in Bellevue, WA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot difficult IT problems without SOPs.
- Plan and coordinate CMs and CM templates.
- Collaborate with internal teams or vendors to execute projects.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts.
- Audit the quality of work performed and provide constructive feedback when necessary.
- Automate manual tasks; create/improve small tools that help make team operations more efficient.
- Be the first point of escalation.
- Participate in hiring, training and development of others.
- High attention to detail and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- On-call for high-severity issues outside standard hours.
- Work with the team onsite in our corporate offices Monday-Friday.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or equivalent.
- 4+ years of Microsoft administration, Linux administration, or Cisco IOS (CLI) experience.
- 4+ years of networking (such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience.
- 4+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience.
- 4+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment experience.
- 4+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
- 3+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Experience driving IT projects to completion with little supervision.
- Experience supporting Windows, Mac and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting.
- Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment.
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications.
- Ability to manage high priority projects and explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.

- Location: Bellevue, WA.
- Pay Rate Range: $40-60/hr.
- Must be US Citizen
