Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract HW Lab Tech 2 - 3D Modeling/Cooling System Test opportunity with our client located in Redmond, WA (Onsite).
Job Description:
- This team is the advanced development lab that builds and tests everything like battery systems, animation cooling systems, etc.
- This role will contribute to deploying new cooling systems.
- The role will consist of 20% meetings, 80% heads down.
Job Qualifications:
- Must have Minimum 3+ years experience with cooling experience; Liquid-to-air and liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger for IT/DC infrastructure experience.
- Must have Minimum3+ years experience with Server Setup and Diagnostics experience – Load programs, BIOS/Firmware updates, etc.
- Must have Some experience with 3D Modeling.
- No Bachelor's degree is required.
- 3-5 overall years of experience in the field.
- The ideal resume would contain - Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Looking to hire a Team Player and detail oriented. Interaction with customers professionally and in a timely manner to include but not limited reporting on projects/updates/discrepancies/ticketing services.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
- High degree of proficiency with:
- Low-voltage electrical maintenance.
- Circuitry and electrical troubleshooting - highly preferred!
- Laboratory equipment – Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, etc.
- Basic knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control and operation of telecommunications systems.
- Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Previous experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering field.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Forklift training and certification would be a major plus.
- Metal Fabrication Skills (welding, machining, etc.) a plus.
- Circuitry and electrical troubleshooting - highly preferred.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite).
- Pay Range: $43/hr. to $52/hr.
- An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass a background check will not be considered for employment.
