Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract HR Specialist I opportunity with our client in Merritt Island, FL.
Job Responsibilities:
- Triage and respond to general inquiries from the entire organization’s population utilizing case management tool, triage cases to the correct owners, provide customer support for employees and members of HR, and investigate inquiries.
- Respond to HR inquiries.
- Processing HR-related tasks.
- Rectifying time clock discrepancies.
- Assisting with onboarding tasks.
- Provide onsite support to employees.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related fields
- 1+ years of HR or customer support
- Experience supporting HR general inquires
- Case management experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of HR experience
- Experience using Workday as a HRIS
- Experience with Time & Attendance in Workday is a plus.
- Experience using Jira

- Location: Merritt Island, FL
- Pay Rate: $44-49/hr
- ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
