Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Direct Hire opportunity as Engineering Test Lab Manager with our client located in the greater Elyria, OH area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides managerial direction and leadership to the Test Engineering function within the engineering department. Determine resources and processes needed to support the group. Plan, organize, control, and lead multiple projects for the design and development of products.
- Establish and oversee accomplishment of multiple project objectives. Provide direction and guidance to subordinates on project teams.
- Ensure standardization of products and processes across multiple projects.
- Anticipate and resolve major program obstacles to maintain overall programs objectives.
- Internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Fully support and implement fair employment practices in hiring, development and promotion of employees.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering: Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Physics or related field required.
- Ideally you have 3-4 years’ managing employees or team leading through project/program management and 7+ years in design and development, preferably within and aerospace environment.
- Demonstrated strong customer orientation.
- Working knowledge of practical managerial techniques, leadership and financial management as well as all factors affecting business results
- Previous experience with rotating machinery and equipment (pump motors, electro-mechanical/controls experience) is also desired.
Job Details:
- Direct Hire
- Location: Elyria, OH Campus - Onsite
- Salary Range: 135K-150K (DOE) (plus 7.5% annual company bonus)
- Work Authorization: ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) is required
- An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass both the drug test and background check will not be considered for employment.
