Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for a Engineering Technician with our client located in Redmond, Washington.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute test plans provided by engineering.
- Develop detailed test plans and procedures based on high level guidelines from engineering.
- Record and organize data for further analysis.
- Rework circuit boards, cables and system prototypes as necessary.
- Build complex prototype cable assemblies for engineering use.
- Assist with prototype builds and troubleshoot as necessary
- Ensure that all safety procedures are observed during laboratory work.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Three years of relevant education or experience in engineering, engineering technology, design technology, or a related field (required)
- Fine pitch soldering and PCBA rework.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, function generators, etc.
- Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with engineers and other employees of the organization.
- Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business information.
- Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Utilizes common-sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
- Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.

- Job Type: Contract
- Pay Rate Range: $32/hr-$38/hr.
- Location: Redmond, WA.
- ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
