Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire opportunity for Employment & Labor Associate/Counsel with our client that is located in St. Louis, Missouri.
Job Description:
- Client is seeking a highly motivated, well-qualified mid-level associate (four to five years of experience) to join its internationally recognized Employment & Labor practice in the St. Louis office.
- The position offers the chance for significant responsibility and to become part of a cohesive team.
Job Responsibilities:
- At least four or more years of experience with defending employment cases; experience in defending class and collective wage and hour actions preferred but not required:
- Taking and defending depositions, managing written discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and overall case management;
- Reviewing and drafting various workplace policies, practices, and handbooks for employers with operations and employees nationwide and internationally;
- Successful applicants will have excellent written and oral communication skills, superior analytical skills, and the ability to manage client engagements;
- Other requirements include excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience.
- Bachelor's Law Degree required
