Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Direct Hire opportunity for a Director - Silicon IP Sales with our client in San Jose, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business growth plans for key strategic accounts
- Accountable to deliver Revenue, Gross Margin, and Design Win Revenue goals
- Forecasting long-term demand and near-term revenue
- Responsible for assessing current opportunities, resources, and capabilities needed to meet or exceed sales plan
- Responsible for developing and executing innovative sales approaches to drive revenue and profitability growth
- Maintain and grow the existing customer base while increasing our client’ focus on pursuing and investing in new high-value accounts
- Work with our client Interface IP and Security BU marketing to develop account strategies based on market analysis and customer segmentation
- Build processes to understand customer current/future requirements, detecting market trends among and align our client’s product development, manufacturing capabilities, and investment strategy
- Work closely with the our client Business Units to successfully introduce new products on critical launch calendars.
- Develop and build senior-level relationships internal and external to major accounts and targets
Job Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor sales, customer engagement, or field marketing
- BSEE/MSEE preferred, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record selling semiconductor IP, foundry services, or ASIC — direct, hands-on IP sales experience is a must
- Practical experience selling Interface IP specifically, including protocols such as DDR, PCIe, or similar high-speed interface/memory subsystem technologies
- Familiarity with memory subsystems, security IP, and related services
- Skilled in detailed sales forecasting and managing an opportunity funnel
- Goal/target-oriented, with a proven track record in customer development and a strong drive toward customer satisfaction
- Established network within the semiconductor industry, including existing executive-level relationships that translate into faster traction on strategic accounts
- Strong project management and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar sales/CRM tools
Job Details:
- Job Type: Direct Hire
- Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid at least 3 days a week onsite)
- Salary Range: $246K to $457K.
