Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire opportunity for Developer Advocate with our client located in Palo Alto, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and present AI infrastructure demos that highlight the unique features of the our clients platform.
- Create engaging blog posts, comprehensive guides, and sample applications to explain and promote our clients product.
- Aware of AI/ML industry news
- Shepherd and energize a developer community around our client, both online and in-person.
- Actively participate in forums, social media, and other platforms to foster a vibrant and supportive community.
- Structure and write clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation to continuously improve the developer experience.
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date with the latest features and best practices.
- Attend and help host developer events such as hackathons, meetups, and conferences.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to grow our community and expand our reach.
- Gather insights and feedback from the developer community to influence the direction of our products.
- Collaborate with internal and external product and engineering teams to ensure developer needs are met.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of experience as a developer advocate or software developer.
- Background in AI/ML.
- Confident and comfortable presenting to large and small audiences.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Salary Range: $100-130k.
- Location: Palo Alto, CA.
- ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.

I joined Protingent in the Spring of 2021 as a sales intern, transitioning to a full-time Technical Recruiter after graduating from the University of Washington in June 2021. Initially, I focused on supporting our spaceflight clients, later expanding to industries such as sustainable energy and nuclear power. While I’ve broadened my recruiting scope, I’m still partial to aerospace engineering, especially anything related to propulsion technology.
My recruiting style focuses on individual candidate needs and relationship building. My philosophy is to lead with empathy and integrity. My favorite thing about recruiting is the opportunity to learn something new every day by talking to the most intelligent people/engineers, as well as the potential to impact critical industries at the staffing level.
When I’m not recruiting, I love spending time outdoors – hiking, camping, roller skating, reading in parks, and swimming in Lake Union (when the Seattle weather permits). I also enjoy thrift shops, sewing/up-cycling clothes, and shooting 35mm film.
