Job Description: This team is looking for a talented Data Analyst to statistically analyze data, coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Statistically analyze datasets from variables under test that are found in an existing database. Work with senior management and technical staff to drive to conclusion and insight about the variables under test.
- Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes
- Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
- Use best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies.
- Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
- 5-7 years applicable experience required
- 2+ years Azure Devops
- 2+ years Power BI
- 2+ Experience working with cross functional teams
- 2+ years Experience gathering and driving large data sets and driving decisions
- Experience with statistical analysis tools and software.
- Experience with database technologies
- Knowledge of the ETL process
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated history of success
- Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
- ADO or Power BI experience
- Knowledge of display or optical systems
- Candidate must be proficient in the role, requires very little oversight
- Someone who presents new ideas and problem solving
- Being an engaged member of the team
Job Details:
- Job Type - Contract hire
- Location: Remote
- Pay Range: $58.50-$73/hr
- An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test, and applicants who do not successfully pass a background check will not be considered for employment.
