Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire opportunity for a Mid-Level Financial Services Disputes Associate with White Collar Experience - Seattle, with our client that is located in Seattle, WA.
Job Description:
- The Financial Services Disputes and Investigations associate requires 3–5 years of experience to join their nationally recognized litigation and disputes practice in Seattle.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all phases of litigation, with a focus on Financial Services Disputes and Investigations, including white collar criminal matters, corporate internal investigations, civil regulatory investigations and enforcement actions, or False Claims Act cases.
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent corporate institutions, Boards of Directors, or corporate executives in federal and state court litigation and investigations, including class actions, regulatory enforcement investigations and actions, Attorney General inquiries, and arbitrations.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues involving federal and state consumer protection laws (e.g., FCRA, FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, TCPA, ECOA) and other regulatory actions.
- Assist in managing discovery, including document review and production.
- Participate in witness interviews or depositions, client meetings, strategy sessions, and settlement negotiations.
- Coordinate with regulatory counsel on parallel investigations or enforcement matters.
- Assist in trial preparation and trial work.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience as a federal or state prosecutor or federal criminal defense lawyer.
- 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on regulated industries, including financial services or consumer finance.
- Experience in complex litigation and/or investigations, and in trial work are strong benefit.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, superior analytical skills, and the ability to manage client engagements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to organize and assess large volumes of discovery.
- Familiarity with AI permitted tools is a strong benefit.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and Washington bar membership in good standing.

- Job Type: Direct Hire
- Pay Range: $215K-$290K.
- Location: Seattle, WA.
