Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract hire opportunity for Drafting Detailer with our client that is located in Fenton, MO.
Project Description:
- Drafting Detailer will create 2D and 3D detailed and general arrangement drawings.
- Responsibilities range from compiling necessary design and layout information into engineering drawings that serve client suppliers in creating fabrication drawings and the creation of fabrication/field erection drawings.
- People in this role must be able to alternate between responsibilities to address peak loads in backlog.
Job Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of AISC, and other international standard structural shapes and AWS weld symbols,
- Working knowledge of Bentley MicroStation / Autodesk AutoCAD platforms, Microsoft Windows and standard Office Suite applications.
- Must be proficient in both 2D and 3D CAD design with experience in the creation of engineering and fabrication drawings. Must be able to work in a team setting and adapt to ever-evolving project and procedural changes.
- Technical or vocational school education; Junior college/two-year college training, certificate is acceptable/degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of CAD design experience including school
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor CAD platform is required
