Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity located in Roseville, CA, or Arlington, TX.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead or support the integration of weapon systems on various military aircrafts
- Analyze and implement weapon interfaces using standard military protocols and data buses (e.g., MIL-STD-1760, MIL-STD-1553)
- Conduct or support weapon separation and safe release analysis, including modeling and simulation efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, avionics, mechanical, and flight test engineers
- Prepare technical documentation, interface control documents (ICDs), and test plans
- Provide on-site support during integration and test phases, including lab and field environments
- Work closely with government customers, contractors, and weapon suppliers
Job Qualifications:
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in weapon systems integration or related defense engineering roles
- Familiarity with military interface standards (e.g., MIL-STD-1760, MIL-STD-1553, 704, etc.)
- Experience with weapon separation analysis tools or methodologies (e.g., SAFE-SEPARATION, CFD tools, MATLAB-based simulations)
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active or interim Secret clearance preferred, or ability to obtain one.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: Roseville, CA or Arlington, TX
- Pay Rate Range: $70-100/hr.
- Requires US Citizenship -May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance at the appropriate level.
