Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Software Engineer II opportunity located in Redmond, WA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions using Python.
- Build and enhance REST APIs using API Gateway.
- Work with DynamoDB for data storage and retrieval.
- Implement frontend features for asset tracking and management
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards
- Support production deployments and troubleshooting.
Job Qualifications:
- Python: 3+ years of professional experience.
- AWS Services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, AppConfig, SQS, SNS.
- Infrastructure as Code: AWS CDK experience preferred
- API Development: RESTful services and JSON handling
- Database: NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB
- Version Control: Git workflows and code review processes
- Testing: Unit testing frameworks (pytest preferred)
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: Redmond, WA.
- Pay Rate Range: $75-85/hr.
