Job Description
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract with potential to hire opportunity for a Certification Technician I with our client located in Kent, WA.
Job Description:
- The Certification Technician I reviews and ensures compliance with regulatory and customer certification and qualification requirements, executes and tracks status of program plans, prepares and maintains a variety of reports, and submits certification deliverables in accordance with program milestones.
- From templates, prepares and maintains Test Matrices, Master Data Lists, Test Plans and Reports, and other certification and qualification documents.
- Reviews test data and reports for accuracy and compliance with internal requirements and test standards such as RTCA/DO-160. (Not an Inspector role)
- Assists in scheduling and coordinating tests and in tracking status of parts testing.
- Works with customer representatives as required during testing.
- Maintains knowledge of regulatory, customer, and company requirements and specifications.
- Takes initiative and responsibility for assigned tasks and tracks tasks to a timely completion.
- Keeps supervisor informed of area activities and of any significant issues.
- Assists other team members as needed, including performing tests, performing test setup and parts conformity inspections, and maintaining and improving quality systems and procedures.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Associates degree preferred
- Minimum 2 yrs. related work experience in roles addressing regulatory requirements in fast-paced environments in Aerospace, Medical, or Nuclear, etc.
- Previous experience or potential to produce projects, reports, and documentation, and tracking. Ideally for electrical test but not required.
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Time Management
- Organizational Skills
Nice to Have:
- Jira experience
- SQL experience
- Extensive Excel experience
- Previous test experience
- Previous Aerospace industry experience
- Certification w/ Aircraft - DO-160
Job Details:
- Work Authorization: ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) is required
- An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass both the drug test and background check will not be considered for employment.
- Contract with potential to hire
- Pay Rate: $22-29/hr.
- Salary Range: 45,614 to $61,714 (DOE)
