Job Description
Position Title: Business Intelligence Analyst 3
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for Business Intelligence Analyst 3 with our client that is fully remote.
Job Responsibilities: Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues. May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
• Provide analytical services and tools to the Corporate Marketing functions to improve insights and productivity.
• Partner with IT systems owners, Enterprise Architecture data owners, & Marketing business process owners to document business metric definitions, execute the prioritized demands, & align on critical analytics initiatives.
• Support the Marketing team in blueprinting of data integration projects to ensure that data architecture needs are fully considered up front.
• Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication of deliverables.
• Use business data & statistical methods to provide insight into business performance and suggest areas and methods of improving operations.
• Practice good data and reporting governance & help improve overall master data integrity.
Job Qualifications:
• Strong SQL skills, ability to perform optimized querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
• Working knowledge of python and usage of various libraries to perform data analysis.
• Working knowledge of data engineering principles: understanding how to store, manage, & retrieve large-scale data sets from multiple systems for analysis or operations.
• 4+ years of experience creating visualizations with Tableau, ability to leverage 2+ data sources.
Job Details:
• Contract: 6+ months (possible of extension)
• Pay Rate: $68 - $74 / hr
• Location: Remote.
