Job Description
Position Description: Protingent has a contract opportunity for an Inventory Specialist with our client in Merritt Island, FL.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contractor shall provide the Inventory setup and management. Responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Cycle Counting inventory
- Creating a spreadsheet
- Working in an ambient temperature
- Recording part numbers and serial numbers
- Record locations
- Labeling location
- Labeling inventory
- Adjusting in inventory
- Validating that inventory counts are correct
- Perform Inventory Issuing
- Relocate inventory
- Relocate the inventory work center
- Provide service as needed on the inventory.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Understanding and exposure to supply chain concepts and interest in network design, sales and operations planning (S&OP), inventory, or physical flow management.
- Clear demonstration of having led operational improvements and in managing key transformation factors (e.g., performance management systems, mindsets/behaviors).
- Demonstrated aptitude for analytics.
- Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
- Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: Onsite Merritt Island, FL.
- Pay Rate: $26.07-31.07/hr.
- ITAR obligations are associated with this role, U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
